For this tutorial, an iPhone 12, iOS 16.4.1 system was used. Therefore, we recommend that the user makes the necessary adaptations to the instructions to activate the feature on another device.

  1. On your cell phone, open the WhatsApp app;
  2. Go to the app settings;
  3. Access the “Conversations” option;
  4. Keep lowering the screen and looking for the “Voice message transcription” option;
  5. Now, to activate the function, move the switch to the right side, making it green;
  6. And, to deactivate, move the same switch to the left.

After completing these steps, you can enter an in-app conversation to test the functionality of the new feature.
